2. What happens if I take too much amtas tablet?
Ans: If you take too much amtas tablet as it may cause some effects such as low blood pressure, dizziness, lightheadedness, weakness, vomiting and rapid heartbeat. However, slow heartbeat, reduced kidney function, including kidney failure, have also been reported in some cases. If you experience any such symptoms, consult your doctor immediately.
3. Can I stop an amtas tablet when my blood pressure is normal or under control?
Ans: Do not stop taking this medication if your blood pressure comes to normal as it is used only to normalize the high blood pressure but do not cure hypertension permanently. You should continue using this medicine even if your blood pressure is controlled. If you stop taking this medication, your blood pressure could rise again. Remember, keeping your blood pressure controlled reduces your risk of having a heart attack and stroke.
4. What happens if I forget to take an amtas tablet?
Ans: If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is close to the time of your next dose, skip the missed one and take the next dose. Do not take a double dose to catch up with the missed dose. Better take this medication at the same time every day so that you cannot forget.
