CARYFER XT tablet is used in the treatment of anemia, iron deficiency, vitamin c deficiency, chronic blood loss, poor absorption and neuropathies. it is also used in the patients with pancreatic tumor. you are advised to take this medicine as prescribed by your doctor. caution must be followed as excess consumption may lead to serious adverse effects. the medication should not be stopped unless
gastritis iron over load hypokalemia (low potassium in blood).

If you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible.
If it is near the time of the next dose, then skip the missed dose.

• folic acid + pyrimethamine: concurrent use may decrease the blood levels and effects the efficacy of folic acid • cyanocobalamin + cimetidine: concurrent use may lead to decreased levels of cyanocobalamin by inhibition of gi absorption • folic acid + fosphenytoin: concurrent use of folic acid along with fosphenytoin may decrease the effectiveness of fosphenytoin for preventing seizures • sodium feredetate + ofloxacin: concurrent use may cause a decrease in absorption and lead to reduced serum concentration • folic acid + methotrexate: concurrent use may lead to blockade of folic acid actions and may eventually result in the risk of side effects.
