If you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible.
If it is near the time of the next dose, then skip the missed dose.
Take the prescribed dose on your regular time daily.
Don't double the dose to catch up with the missed dose..
• Lenteclin tablet is prescribed to cure your infection and improve symptoms
• Take it with food and plenty of water to avoid stomach upset
• Do not skip any doses and complete the entire course of treatment even if you feel better
• Don't quit the treatment early as it may cause the infection to relapse and may worsen
• Take it while you are sitting or standing to prevent any throat irritation.
Do not lie down for at least 30 minutes after taking this tablet
• Diarrhea may occur as a side effect but don't quit the treatment until the completion of your course.
Inform your doctor if it doesn't stop or if you find blood in your stools
• Avoid excessive exposure to sun and use sunscreen and protective clothing when outdoors
• Avoid this tablet with dairy products such as milk, cheese, curd, butter, paneer and ice cream.
Contraindicated • Lenteclin + Acitretin: Concurrent use of these drugs leads to increased intracranial pressure • Lenteclin + Bcg vaccine live: Lenteclin decreases effects of bcg vaccine live by pharmacodynamic antagonism Serious • Lenteclin + Aluminum hydroxide: Aluminum hydroxide decreases levels of lenteclin by inhibition of gi absorption • Lenteclin + Methoxyflurane: Concurrent use of these drugs result in fatal renal toxicity • Lenteclin + Calcium carbonate: Concurrent use of these drugs either decreases levels of the other by inhibition of gi absorption.
